This website was blocked on pinterest, but I really enjoyed the recipe (got it before they blocked it). Still won't let me link directly so I'm going to copy/paste here to see if that works.
Just a reminder, not my recipe. I got it from recipebest.com. Just re-blogging so that maybe it can be linked to Pinterest and not blocked.
This easy version of the Chinese takeout classic requires only a short marinade to make the beef fork-tender. Serve over white or brown rice. Serves 4.
First, marinate the meat:
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp water
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 lbs flank steak, sliced into thin strips
1. Whisk together the baking soda, sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, water, and
vegetable oil in a large bowl. Toss the steak with the marinade to coat. Cover
and refrigerate at least 1 hour, then proceed below.
1/2 c low-sodium soy sauce (Do NOT use regular. The final product will be way too
salty)
2 tbsp brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp sherry
3 tbsp vegetable oil
2 heads broccoli, crowns only
1. In a small bowl, stir together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, flour and sherry
until smooth. Set aside.
2. In a large wok or saute pan, heat 2 tablespoons of the vegetable oil over high
heat until shimmering. Add broccoli and saute 3 minutes, stirring often. Transfer
broccoli to a plate.
3. Reduce heat to medium-high. Carefully add the remaining tablespoon of oil to
the hot pan. Add the marinated meat and half of the sauce mixture and saute for 3-
4 minutes, stirring often, until the meat is cooked through and no longer pink. Stir in
the broccoli and remaining sauce. Saute 1 minute more. Serve.

Fabulous Hot Fudge Peanut Butter Pie
This lovely recipe came from a Facebook page called Hillbilly Recipes. I wanted to pin to my Pinterest page, but you can't pin from Facebook, so I thought I would put it here. To see where this recipe actually came from (I take absolutely no credit), please go here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hillbilly-Recipes/412046715548890?ref=stream
Ingredients
For the pie:
1 chocolate graham cracker crust
1 cup peanut butter
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
1 tub (12 ounces) Cool Whip, divided
1 jar (11.75 ounces) hot fudge topping, divided
½ cup sugar
For the topping:
2 tablespoons hot fudge
2 tablespoons peanut butter
Method
• In large bowl, beat peanut butter, cream cheese, and sugar until creamy. Fold in 3 cups Cool Whip. Spoon mixture into crust and smooth to edges.
• Remove 2 tablespoons hot fudge from jar and reserve in zip-loc plastic baggie for later. Heat remaining hot fudge according to package directions. Spread on top of peanut butter layer. Refrigerate pie until serving time.
• At serving time, carefully spread remaining Cool Whip on top of pie.
• Knead hot fudge in baggie with hands; cut tiny hole in corner of baggie and pipe over pie. Repeat with 2 tablespoons peanut butter and pipe on pie in opposite direction.

Calling all stylists!
OK everyone, I was obsessing over some particular boots and now that I finally have them, I'm trying to figure out how to style them. I'm looking for various combos to get the most use out of them.
Ideas (hopefully someone will read this)? Go! :)

Pinterest Accomplishments!
I'm thinking that maybe I'll start posting the things I have found on Pinterest that I (or my hubby) have completed! This is mostly recipes, doubtful it'll be anything else, haha!
So here are some so far!!
Cake Batter Bites...
Found on Pinterest, which lead me to the recipe here...
http://www.kristanlynn.com/2011/12/cake-batter-bites.html
These were good, but super duper sweet! Just before I had made some dark chocolate cake pops, so follow those up were a bit difficult.
I would recommend these for maybe a kids' party, due to their super sweetness. Also, if not devoured immediately, they need to be refrigerated.
Homemade Pretzels...
Super duper yum! My hubby made the dough and I helped him shape them.
Got the recipe here...
http://diaryofarecipeaddict.blogspot.com/2011/06/homemade-soft-pretzels.html
These were surprisingly easy and repinned them from a friend of ours who made them for us during a game night. Now we can't wait to try different variations! Pretzel dogs, pretzel bites, ones with stuff in them like the recipe link above! Now... to find an awesome cheese dip recipe for these...
More to come since we've been baking for the 4th :)

2 Things I like to do...
So... as I travel down this journey of life, I'm still trying to figure out what I think I would like to do. I think so many of us just work at our current jobs because it's good pay, or we like the people, or the benefits, or it's a good location... but do we really enjoy what we do? Totally awesome if you do! But I ask this question to myself a lot. Problem is, I don't know what I would REALLY like to be doing... besides shopping and traveling with maybe my imaginary lotto winnings ;)
So bored the other day, I found myself actually going out and doing two things and really wanting to do them...
#1 - finding and getting jobs for people
#2 - finding and booking travel for people
The latter... as I was bored this particular day... I randomly texted my friend and asked if he had his Vegas airline ticket yet and if not, then I'll go look for him! And I was excited about it! Yes, maybe it's because I'm excited about the trip, but I enjoy looking up travel and different deals and finding the best possible, money and itinerary wise.
So... anyone have any ideas on super awesome jobs for this... besides a Travel Agent or HR? Haha!
I've thought about Travel Agent, but I just don't know how to get into it, and what "starting at the bottom" would even be. Hmmm...
Speaking of deals... the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is having a stay 3 nights get the 4th free. Just an FYI ;)
